Art Projects for Kids: Monster Art

August 12, 2015 By: Liz

Monsters are always a good idea when doing art projects for kids, and this one is no exception. What I really love about it is that little artists can create any kind of monster art they like, it all depends on the shapes they choose to cut out.

Here's a super simple monster art project for kids. Brilliant!

These colourful monsters are the third art project involving googly eyes this month. If you like them, here’s a link to our other googly eye works of art!

What you need

  • Two pieces of white paper for each student: 1 cut into 4 pieces.
  • Blu-tac
  • Sponges for painting
  • Tempera or finger paints in 4 different colours
  • Scissors and glue
  • Googly eyes

How it’s done

Watch the 45 second video below.

How will I remember?

Download this free Monster Mash Up resource sheet to remind you!

Make this super fun monster art project for kids!

I hope your kids love making monster art and wish you happy teaching and learning!

Do you have an art project using googly eyes?
