Art Projects for Kids: Canvas Halloween Snapshots

October 26, 2015 By: Liz

If you can grab some small mounted canvases when they’re on special or at a bargain basement shop, these Halloween Canvas Snapshots will not only look brilliant but they won’t stretch your pocketbook either. It’s so nice for kids to paint on canvas ‘like a real artist,’ and these snapshots are sweet and simple so that younger artists won’t feel overwhelmed.

Use tiny canvases to make a sweet Halloween snapshot!

What you need for Canvas Halloween Snapshots

  • Very small mounted canvases of any shape.
  • Acrylic paint.
  • Paintbrush.
  • Recycled paper.

How it’s done

Here’s the video, ready to go!

How will I remember?

Make sure to download this free Canvas Halloween Snapshots resource sheet!

Here's how your kids can create a series of gorgeous Halloween snapshots using canvas and acrylic paints!

If you’re quick you can get these made before Halloween, but if not just change the theme of the pictures and make them anyway! They’d look great with part of a Christmas bell or tree painted on them.
