My Free Little Math Books

December 29, 2014 By: Liz

Make these sweet little math books with your kidsI’ve been working on a new teaching product for CVC words that is interactive, and making cute little books like these are a favourite. So I thought I’d make some to give away! There is one page for addition and one for subtraction using numbers 0-5.

They’re simple and easy to use and the kids will be able to make them as well (maybe with a little help).

Please download your Little Math Books here – no glue necessary, just a pair of scissors!

Have fun making these tiny math books

I do hope you enjoy using these math books and wish you happy teaching and learning.

PS If you like teeny tiny books you need to download these free Little Alphabet Books as well as this Little Number Book.

Looking for more activities and games for numbers 0-5?

FLUENT WITHIN FIVE contains 7 different games focused on addition and subtraction within five.

Fun games to build confidence with addition and subtraction within 5.

Thanks Rhoda! I’m currently working on word family activities that have lots of hands-on activities. Each word family will include 3 mini-books like this. 1 with individual words and a picture, another with simple sentences, and the third with a slightly more difficult sentences. If you want to look at it you can find the ‘at words’ pack here http://bit.ly/1xw36Ke.

I haven’t made any other math ones yet. I’m glad you like them!

Thank you for sharing these, Liz! I love the little books, and always kept our writing center stocked with blank ones. We called them itty-bitty books!

Thanks, Linda! Itty-bitty books is such a great name. And I can imagine keeping blank ones around really encourages the kids to grab them and start writing!

Hi Kathy! There is one addition and one subtraction booklet and they can be downloaded together by clicking on the highlighted link. The linked words are ‘Little Math Books’ and you can find it just above the second picture that shows how to construct the books.
