My Little Alphabet Books

June 13, 2015 By: Liz

These little alphabet books are the cutest ever! I love tiny books and from the huge response to these free Little Math Books I guess it’s not just me! Luckily, kids like them too and get a real kick out of making an 8-page book from one piece of paper. So today it’s the alphabet.

Fun books that make 'reading' easy! And they're FREE!

These alphabet books are designed to build confidence as they can be ‘read’ easily with the prompting of the graphics. Because of this, it’s good to encourage children to point to each word as they read to keep their eyes focused on the words and individual letters. The fun factor of having tiny books with so many pages is motivating and as they turn the pages kids can experience ‘reading’ a book all the way through by themselves.

They’re super easy to make… just fold on the lines, cut one slit and you’re done! You’ll find full instructions in the Alphabet Books download here.

There’ s a capital and lowercase letter to trace on each page and 6 letters on the back page.

Sweet little alphabet books for your kids!

If you’d like to purchase the entire set you can find My Little Alphabet Books at my Teachers Pay Teachers store.

Have you downloaded these free alphabet books yet? Here’s the link again!

I wish you happy teaching and learning!

    Hi, Liz!
I love these little books! When I used them with my students, we called them itty-bitty books. Whatever you call them, they fit tiny hands perfectly! Thanks for sharing this great freebie at “What’s New in K-2?” on Primary Inspiration. I’d love it if you’d stop by to link another new resource next Tuesday!

Hi Megan! You can find the link above between the 2 graphics. It’s highlighted in green and says ‘Alphabet Books download here.’ If you’re wanting to buy the whole A-Z set the link is in green directly underneath the 2nd graphic. Enjoy!
