2015 Free Monthly Calendar for Kids

January 5, 2015 By: Liz

Come and download this calendar for FREE!

Edit: January to December 2021 calendars are available HERE.

I was looking around Pinterest this week and found some terrific printable calendars. I was intending to compile them together to show you all the different options, but instead I ended up making my own.

I wanted children to be able to colour or trace the numbers and to add some of the more important and widely recognised international days as I find that if it’s on my calendar it’s a great reminder to prepare a learning opportunity for the little ones. Actually, I’m pretty sure Tooth Fairy Day and Teddy Bear Day are not high on the importance list compared to Peace Day and Children’s Day but I couldn’t resist. Besides, I had some super cute graphics from Edu-Clips that I simply had to use. I hope you understand my compulsion!

I have not included national or specific religious/cultural celebrations because:

  • it’s really hard to fit them in
  • I would inevitably forget one
  • I want the calendar be usable no matter your country

I have included 2 extra pages for southern hemisphere children to switch the graphics on the opposite seasons.

I have really enjoyed making this calendar and hope you find it a good jumping off point for teaching numbers, patterns and calendar concepts.

THIS 2015 CALENDAR IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. FOLLOW THE LINK AT THE TOP OF THIS POST TO FIND THE MOST RECENTLY PUBLISHED CALENDAR.

Wishing you a wonderful New Year and happy teaching and learning!

Do you have plans on making any for 2016?

Yes, Ashley I’ll do that. Actually, you’ve reminded me that I need to create a 2015-2016 calendar for the northern hemisphere school year. I’ll get that done for early July!
